Relief for flood effected people - 2
Event Overview
Relief is being organized for 600 flood affected families under the initiative of Hill Engineer's Association of Bangladesh - HEAB. Volunteers of Save A Smile Foundation are cooperating with all their efforts in this. There are also a bunch of dedicated volunteers from various universities and colleges. Tomorrow, August 27, these relief items will be distributed in 6 upazilas of Khagrachari and Rangamati districts.
As part of the distribution of food items for 600 flood affected families organized by Hill Engineer's Association of Bangladesh - HEAB , a team of Save A Smile Foundation as well as a bunch of volunteers from different colleges and universities completed the work of distributing food items to 100 families in Udaipur village of Sajek Union of Baghaichhari Upazila of Rangamati district on the Indian border. In doing this, the Foundation members traveled 73 km on one of the most dangerous roads in Bangladesh.
As part of the distribution of food items for 600 flood affected families organized by Hill Engineer's Association of Bangladesh - HEAB , another team of Save A Smile Foundation as well as a bunch of volunteers from different colleges and universities completed the work of distributing food items to 150 families including 50 families in Merung Union of Dighinala Upazila of Khagrachari District and 100 families in Hatchinchanpur Union.
As part of the distribution of food items for 600 flood affected families organized by Hill Engineer's Association of Bangladesh - HEAB, another team of Save A Smile Foundation as well as a bunch of volunteers from different colleges and universities completed the work of distributing food items to 100 families in Santal Para, Madhumangal Para, Dudhukchara Panchari Upazila of Khagrachari District. Representative from HEAB Nitu Prasad Chakma was present with the team.
