Touch of Knowledge, Language and Love — Educational Effort in Harinathpara

Event Overview

On June 15, 2025, as part of the group-based activities of Youth Save A Smile Foundation, Group-1 implemented an educational and language awareness program with the participation of students of Harinathpara Government Primary School, a UNICEF-run school in Harinathpara village, near Khagrachhari city. ?? Students from classes 1 to 6 participated in this event. The main objective of the program was to create interest in education among children and encourage the practice of mother tongue. ? Brief activities: 1️⃣ First introduction to the students 2️⃣ Distribution of educational materials to everyone 3️⃣ ✍️ Beautiful handwriting competition: General knowledge, story and poetry book prizes 4️⃣ Introduction to the Chakma alphabet: - Ajhapat (Chakma consonants) spoken orally and distribution of printed copies - Encouragement through awarding 5️⃣ ? Poetry recitation competition and awarding prizes 6️⃣ ?️ Inspirational speech delivered by Munni Chakma ? Special gratitude to the local woman Karbari, who provided important support in the implementation of the program.
