Health awareness in the hills with a touch of compassion

Event Overview

June 14, 2025 — As part of a group-based activity organized by Youth Save A Smile Foundation, Group-2 gathered in Jamtala area of ​​Khagrachari district and from there crossed the river and reached remote Kumar Dhan Roja Para. ⛰️ Our objective in this hilly area deprived of first aid was— “To convey the message of health awareness with a little compassion.” In this initiative, Nurse Aarti Chakma was present and explained to everyone how to properly use first aid equipment such as bandages, sevlon, cotton, orceline. She further said with importance, ? “It is very necessary to get a health check-up done at least once a year.” And in the most important part, she taught everyone practically — what CPR is and how to apply it. ? Each attendee was given a first aid kit and Nurse Aarti Chakma was presented with a commemorative plaque. ? At the end of the day, we capture a bunch of smiling moments—a beautiful group photo, which will be a witness to this memorable day. ?
